We are committed to creating a better future, particularly in India where our handmade products originate.

By partnering with i=Change we are dedicated to help end hunger through gender equality, empower women to become micro entrepreneurs and changing the future for girls.

As a small business, we understand that our impact may be modest for now, but we truly believe that every contribution matters.

END HUNGER

THROUGH GENDER EQUALITY

The Hunger Project works to end hunger and poverty in Rajasthan, India by empowering women to become leaders in their communities.

In India, one third of all seats in village councils are reserved for women. However, women in rural villages are often not equipped with the skills, knowledge, or tools they need to advocate for effective change.

The Hunger Project works with elected women over a 5-year training program where they learn how to become effective leaders for change.

$21 = trains 1 elected woman for 1 month to be an effective leader

CHANGE THE FUTURE OF GIRLS

END THE MARRIAGE OF GIRLS

Young girls are the most vulnerable in India. 2 in every 5 marriages in India involve a child.

When girls are empowered, they grow into empowered women who break down patriarchal structures. The effects ripples into their families and communities, promoting social justice, gender equality and economic development.

The Hunger Project works with adolescent girls in India to exercise their voice and agency, increasing their ability to change their futures, follow their dreams, and end their own hunger.

$5 = enables 50 women to participate in a meeting hosted by trained women leaders, held in safe spaces at the homes of village women.
