Hello my name is Sophie
I’ve spent my career obsessing over the things most people never notice. The weight of a fabric. The way a seam moves. The difference between a button that’s just functional and one that makes you stop and look twice.
After studying Textile Design and graduating as Australian Textile Designer of the Year, I spent three years working in the global textile industry, until I realised I was ready to do something that felt truly mine.
I wanted to design with intention. Not just fill a brief.
What I kept coming back to was a simple question: where had the craft gone?
I wanted to be the person who brought it back, not as a trend, but as a way of working.
Real techniques and details wave construction, mother of pearl, modernised and woven into pieces that actually live in your wardrobe.
Pieces you reach for on a Tuesday morning and a Saturday night. Pieces that earn compliments before you've said a word.
Every piece begins with a conversation, between me and the incredibly skilled artisans in India I work closely with.
We experiment with techniques together. We try things. We honour traditional craftsmanship while exploring it through a modern lens.
The result is always something that couldn’t have come from anywhere else.
I believe in natural fibres that feel beautiful on your skin. I believe in details that reward the people who look closely.
And I believe that getting dressed should feel like something, not just something you do, but something you enjoy.
Thank you for being here. It means more than you know.
